Where should my business start with AI?
At the frequent, expensive, data-available pain—not with a platform fantasy.
Pick the first use case with three filters: Does it happen often? Is delay expensive (money, time, reputation)? Is usable data reachable? Common starters: the same 20 support answers, lead triage, appointment pre-qualification, internal document search.
Weak starts: “AI everywhere,” hoping magic while data is scattered, or bolting a bot onto a broken process. AI accelerates bad process; it does not fix ownership. Agree who owns a ticket and where the record lives before models enter the chat.
Keep pilots small: one channel (WhatsApp or web form), one success metric (first response time, missed leads, misroutes), a few weeks of learning. If it fails, cost is bounded; if it works, expand.
Checklist before tools: pain in one sentence, metric, data source, human takeover rule.
