Personal data protection
Arla Medya processes personal data in line with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and related legislation. This notice explains purposes of processing, recipients, collection methods, legal bases and your rights under Article 11 of KVKK.
We may request identity and contact details (name, phone, email, address, etc.) to provide services, run campaigns you opt into, perform statistical analysis and improve quality. Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy.
Purposes of processing
Personal data may be processed to: deliver and promote products/services; manage customer relationships; perform contracts and post-contract services; communicate with you; run sales processes; conduct marketing analysis; run advertising and campaigns; handle requests and complaints; and meet legal obligations.
Categories of data
Identity (name, ID number where required, date of birth), contact (phone, email, address), customer transaction data, financial/billing data, and marketing data (purchase history, cookie records, campaign interactions) as relevant.
Transfers
Data may be shared with business partners and suppliers, service providers, and legally authorised public or private entities, within the conditions of KVKK Articles 8 and 9.
Collection method and legal basis
Data is collected via website forms, email, phone, contracts, cookies and similar channels — automatically or non-automatically. Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations and, where required, explicit consent.
Retention
Data is kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes and applicable retention rules, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised in line with KVKK.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you may request information about processing, correction, deletion/destruction where applicable, notification of third parties, objection to automated outcomes, and compensation for unlawful processing.
