Is SEO dead in the age of AI search?
SEO is not dead—cheap tricks are. Organic visibility still drives durable demand.
Every algorithm update and AI headline revives the “SEO is dead” claim. The sharper truth: blind faith in ten blue links is weaker, while technical health, clear pages, and trust still win. People still search; Google still sends commercial and local intent that turns into enquiries.
What changed: zero-click answers, AI overviews, short-form discovery, social search. Ranking alone is a thinner strategy. What did not change: without a solid site, proof, and contact paths, neither ads nor AI mentions compound into a business asset.
Modern SEO is crawlable structure, fast mobile UX, pages that answer real intent, internal links, experience signals, and measurement. Keyword stuffing is obsolete; visibility as a growth system is not.
SEO did not end. Low-quality shortcut SEO did.
